Timmy’s Story
Timmy grew up in Southborough, Massachusetts, where he attended Algonquin Regional High School and discovered a lifelong passion for sports, especially ice hockey, which he played for many years. He cherished growing up on a cul-de-sac surrounded by a close-knit circle of friends. He often spent time at Sandy Island Family Camp on Lake Winnipesaukee and going on adventurous vacations with family. He looked forward to family reunions and enjoyed the outdoors. He would hunt or fish with his dad and shared his mom’s love of dancing and animals, often helping her with fostering dogs.
He loved life and found true happiness in the company of those he cared about most: family, close high school & neighborhood friends, and his Phi Kappa Psi fraternity brothers at the University of Rhode Island.
His happiest moments were often the simplest; long talks with his sister on the beach, skateboarding, or dancing. He could always be found cheering on the Bruins, Celtics and Patriots with his friends.
Humble and genuine, Timmy was a straight shooter who never sought the spotlight. He had a quiet strength and an unwavering love for his family and friends. Though he wasn’t one to say much, when he did speak, people listened. He was just coming into his own, becoming a man.
A close friend of his said, “Timmy taught me that goodness never has to be loud to be strong. He was always there with an unwavering presence and really listening.” He didn’t need to dominate a room or be at its center, his authenticity and kindness spoke louder than words.
On May 24, 2025, one week after graduating from the University of Rhode Island, Timmy tragically passed away at the age of 22 from a severe anaphylactic reaction to peanuts.
In life, Timmy gave his heart to everyone. After his passing, He was an organ donor so his heart was given to save the life of a teenage boy with the help of New England Donor Services. At least three other people in need were also organ recipients. A wonderful gift from a heart-shattering loss.
